This years cover feature is the new unveiled African and Caribbean Memorial on Windrush Square London, the first of its kind, a dedication to the African and Caribbean men and women who fought in the first and Second World Wars, a project set up by the Nubian Jak Community Trust – You can find out more about Nubian Jak in this years title.
We also feature Health Education England who are talking about and looking for more representation from the BAME community to join the ambulance service across the UK to become paramedics. Banardo’s look back over 30 years and talk about their Patron Princess Diana and how she and Barnardos worked within the BAME communities, starting with a project in Tower Hamlets, they also talk about their Online interactive archive featuring photographs and accounts of some of the first Black and mixed heritage children that the helped which was set up last year for Black History Month celebrating 150 years of helping children.
